The history of the Perini Family in Brazil started in 1876 with the arrival of Italian immigrants Antonio and Giuseppe Perini to the beautiful mountain region of Serra Gaúcha, South Brazil. They brought with them from Italy the art of transforming grapes into wine and believed that their love for the land, hard work and dedication would give a special taste to the grapes they harvested. Four generations on, Guiseppe’s grandson and current Director, Benildo Perini, founded the Perini Winery in 1970, transforming the small family business to the winery it is today. Streamlining the management process, identifying trends and producing excellent quality wines has transformed Perini into one of the best known wineries in Brazil.
Violet red with shades of ruby. Aromas of chocolate and vanilla with dark fruits on the nose; on the palate, intense flavours of ripe blackberries and firm tannins. The wine has a soft, succulent finish.
