Description
Carmes is the second wine of Château Rieussec owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild with vineyards which border Château d’Yquem. A classic blend of mainly Semillon with Sauvignon and Muscadelle and aged for 16 months in second year oak barrels. Famed for its luscious, rather exotic style, the flavours here are more evolved, almost savoury but still with a delicious warm spice and honeyed character.
Drinking beautifully this Christmas and perfect with the pud and mince pies! Very limited stock available.
