The whole cycle of life is entirely subject to the whim of weather and its climatic intemperance. A fleeting hailstorm can wreak havoc in a vineyard, just as the absence of clouds will assist frost in cold climes and lead to drought in summer. We celebrate those cruel, damning and wine-defining weightless gods above in Passing Giants, our new organic Sauvignon wines from Marlborough.
The organic farming seems to capture more texture and this is a deliciously limpid, zesty Sauv replete with classic Marlborough aromatics and pink grapefruit notes on the palate.
Pairs well with pad thai, thai fish cakes or any dishes with south-east Asian flavours such as lime, chilli and coriander.
